The Holy Shrine delegation visits the Media and Communications Authority
A delegation from the International Media Centre affiliated with the Media Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine visited the Media and Communications Commission to discuss ways of cooperation and to establish a cultural media forum for serving Imam Hussain (PBUH).
Sabah al-Talqani, head of the delegation, said, "As part of the centre's plan to strengthen relations and mutual coordination between local institutions, a delegation from the International Media Centre affiliated with the Media Department, representing the Holy Shrine, visited the Media and Communications Authority in preparation for holding a cultural and media forum entitled (Imam Hussain's media impact in creating public opinion) to discuss the organisational and logistical issues of the forum."
He added, "The forum aims to urge and encourage international and local media outlets to cover and participate in the pilgrimages attended by millions of people in Karbala annually."
He concluded, "It was agreed to form a mutual committee between the Holy Shrine and the Information Authority to set cooperations and to establish activities and events that serve Imam Hussain's case (PBUH)."
