The Holy Shrine holds a joyful celebration to celebrate the birth of Al-Sadiqin

The Religious Affairs Department affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine held a ceremony, coinciding with the birth anniversaries of Great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Imam al-Sadiq, at Khatam al-Anbiyaa Hall inside the Shrine.

Sheikh Ahmed al-Amily, the scientific assistant of the department's head, said in a statement to our centre: "The Religious Affairs Department plans to celebrate the week of auspicious birth anniversaries, which were divided into several Iraqi cities."

He pointed out that "holding today's festival is to remember the morals and heritage of prophet Mohammad and Imam al-Sadiq, as the festival included words in several languages, Arabic, English, African, and French. This festival will be held annually to celebrate the anniversary and to remember the morals of the great prophet Mohammad."

He concluded, "Religious schools in Karbala have students from over 30 countries from inside and outside Iraq, and they attend all the events held by the department."
