Dialogue and research sessions in cooperation between the Holy Shrine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Forum of Religious and Cultural Diplomacy, set up by the International Media Centre affiliated with the Holy Shrine in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, witnessed research sessions of dialogue supervised by Dr. Thamer Mekki Ali.
The sessions discussed some of the research papers of Professor Dr Qassem Shuaib Abbas, PhD, at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, tagged under the title (Religious Diplomacy of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Al-Arbaeen Pilgrimage, as an example, while the 2nd seat was reserved for the researcher at Political Science at Al-Mustansriyya University, Dr Saad Ali Al-Tamimi, titled (The Cultural Diplomacy of the supreme religious authority in Iraq.
The two researchers discussed the significant efforts and services provided to the pilgrims in their walking journey to Karbala in order to commemorate Al-Arbaeen Pilgrimage, which is signed as a heritage by UNESCO due to its unbelievable things, though they are true."
It is stated that the researchers also focused on the efforts of the supreme religious authority represented by his eminence, Grand AytoAllah, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani.
