Huge gate named in honor of Imam Hussein in India

A local official in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh said that the city will witness the construction of a huge gate in the coming period in the name of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, to commemorate his painful martyrdom and blessed revolution.

Salman Haider, the administrative advisor to the state government, said in press statements, that "the state government announced the construction of a gate in the name of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, which leads to Rathhavely Quarter, with halls for worshipers to hold mourning ceremonies on the occasion of the holy month of Muharram."

Haidar indicated that "work on the construction of the gate will begin during the coming period, as soon as the financial budget is received from the government."

Rathhavely Quarter is located in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, and has a Muslim majority.
