The priest of the Roman Catholic Church in Syria visits Imam Hussain Holy Shrine
The priest of the Roman Catholic Church of the Lady of Damascus in Syria, Father Makarios Qaloumi, visited Imam Hussain Holy Shrine (PBUH) and expressed his admiration for the beauty and sanctity of the place.
Father Makarios Qaloumi said, "This visit shows us the beauty of Imam Hussain's followers (the Shia'), and the world still has good people with good ethics."
He added, "I was excited to visit the city of Karbala, the city in which it is close to my heart, and to visit the Holy Shrines in particular. As we conducted a tour, we visited the Holy Shrine's museum, which has the entire history of the city and the precious antiquities it has."
The delegation expressed great admiration for the Holy Shrine and its Museum, which contains treasures and antiques dating back to ancient times.
This visit comes as part of the Conference of Dialogue and Human-Building, which was held in the Holy City of Najaf, sponsored by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.
