A University affiliated with the Shrine announced the inauguration of new scientific colleges
The University of Warith al-Anbiyaa, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the inauguration of eight new scientific departments to enhance the academic field in Karbala.
Dr Waqid al-Mousawi, the scientific assistant at the University of Wareth al-Anbiyaa, said in a statement, "In light of the continuous urban development witnessed in Karbala and the establishment and inauguration of new strategic projects that serve the citizens of Karbala, the university put all efforts into graduating a group of students with scientific and academic skills and proficiency."
He stated, "The colleges inaugurated recently are science majors, which included the Department of IT, Medical Physics, and Media, which consist of two departments, Public Relations and Digital Media. As for the Engineering Departments, they included Petroleum and Aviation Engineering, while Management and Economics included the Departments of Oil and Gas Economics and Project Management."
Al-Mousawi stressed, "The university has fulfilled all the conditions and requirements approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the inauguration, as the university has provided all the students' needs."
