The Department of Social Development announced al-Arbaeen pilgrimage stats
The Holy Shrine's Youth Development and Social Rehabilitation Department revealed all the services provided to pilgrims during the al-Arbaeen pilgrimage.
Ali Zaki Kamel Al-Tamimi, the department's head, stated, "The plan went according to the programmes prepared and what we planned for, as it witnessed a wide diversity of services provided, including humanitarian, developmental, and cultural.
The most significant recorded statistics of these programmes during the pilgrimage were first aid services, noting that "the statistics for first aid went over 8,712 people, and the pilgrims guiding programme was 335,569."
He added, "The number of people who got our Department services was 9,804, and the Imam Hussain Tent of Knowledge programme was 10,887, in addition to the Hussaini Service Regiment programme, which reached over 20,000."
