Al-Abbas Holy Shrine announced distributing over 960 thousand litres of different-usage water daily
The Bayna al-Haramin department of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine announced distributing over 960 thousand litres of water daily for various uses to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussain.
Eng Mohammad Jassim, the official in charge of the Water Desalination Unit, said, "The water pumps are distributed in three places in the Bayna al-Haramin area and are used for several uses, including drinking, praying's ablution, and for the water spraying fans."
He added, "Our staff pumps filtered water (RO) to the drinking spots at the Bayna al-Haramin area after a hyper-filtering process to produce over 400 thousand litres per day."
He concluded, "Water Spray Fans are spread all over the area to help soften the hot atmosphere by spraying over 400 thousand litres of water, and the 160 left are used for ablution."
