Imam Hussain Holy Shrine distributes more than 10,000 food baskets to families of martyred, wounded soldiers, and the underprivileged in Karbala and other provinces

The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain announced the distribution of more than 10,000 food baskets to the families of martyred and wounded soldiers and PMUs, as well as the underprivileged in Karbala and other provinces, coinciding with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.

The head of the Religious Education Division, Sheikh Fahim Al-Ebrahimi, said, “Under the guidance of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, and with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, more than 10,000 food baskets including a variety of foodstuffs and humanitarian aid were distributed to the families of martyred and wounded soldiers and PMUs, as well as the underprivileged in Karbala and other provinces.”

The distribution came in cooperation and coordination with the Holy Shrine’s volunteers in a number of provinces.
