The International Media Center visits the Imam Al-Hussein Foundation for Dialogue and Peacebuilding

A delegation from the International Media Center of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine visited the Imam Al-Hussein Foundation for Dialogue in Najaf in order to discuss joint cooperation in serving the Husseini cause.

The head of the International Media Center, Haidar Al-Mangooshi, said, “As part of the work plan of the center to consolidate the relationship between local and international institutions with regard to intellectual, cultural, religious and development activities, which the Holy Shrine seeks to consolidate in service of the blessed Husseini cause and the family of the Prophet (peace be upon them).”

Al-Mangooshi added, “There is joint and fruitful cooperation with many institutions, including the Imam Al-Hussein Foundation (peace be upon him) for Dialogue, in order to deliver the message of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) to all people in the world, and through opening to international and media institutions that work to establish peace, peaceful coexistence and learn about the cultures of different peoples.”

The head of the Research and Studies Department at the Imam Hussein Foundation, Sayyed Walid Al-Baaj, said, “We are fully prepared for joint cooperation with the International Media Center of the Media Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in order to support the blessed Husseini cause and seek to deliver the messages of the Husseini renaissance to all countries of the world, especially in light of the complex circumstances at the present time.”

The the Imam Al-Hussein Foundation for Dialogue and Peacebuilding was established by the late Sayyed Salih Al-Hakim in consultation with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, in order to open horizons of understanding and dialogue with intellectual and religious organizations around the world.
