Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues construction work on residential complex for the martyrs’ families

The Strategic Projects Department of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is continuing the construction work on the residential complex project dedicated to the families of the “Sufficient Jihad Fatwa” martyrs on the road linking Karbala-Najaf provinces.

The project’s supervising engineer, Alaa Abbas, said that "the department's staffs are working on the housing project for the families of the martyrs, in appreciation of their great sacrifices to defend Iraq's land and its holy sites.”

He added, "The project is located on the road linking the holy province of Karbala and the holy province of Najaf. It is implemented on a land area of 10.5 hectares and includes 316 houses, each measuring an area of 120 square meters."

Abbas pointed out that "there will be a school, a mosque, a kindergarten, a market and recreational places that will be built within the complex."
