The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain participated in the 30th annual Hussain Day Convention held in the Indian city of Bangalore, under the theme “Stand for Social Equality”.

The head of the delegation, Dr. Saad al-Din al-Banna, said in a statement to the International Media Center, “The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalaey, sent us to participate in this conference and deliver the opening speech for the international event, which is participated by various Indian sects such as Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, Sabians, Shia and Sunni Muslims as well as other sects."

Al-Banaa added, “The Holy Shrine had previously participated in the conference before the Corona pandemic, and praise be to God, we have returned this year with our brothers from other sects and religions.”

“We noticed that the participants from the Sikhs, Hindus, Christians and other sects had studied many things about the renaissance of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, and they spoke with abundant information about the Imam and his pure family (peace be upon them), and perhaps many Muslims don't know this information,” added the head of the delegation.

Personalities from different religions gathered under the tent of love, humanity and cooperation for the sake of humanity.
