Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announces progress in the educational complex for orphans in Karbala

The Engineering and Technical Projects Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues its work to complete the largest educational complex for male and female orphans in the holy province of Karbala.

The project’s resident engineer, Zaid al-Janabi, confirmed that “the orphan schools project is being implemented by the Ardh al-Quds Contracting Company and under the direct supervision of the Engineering Projects Department of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine. The project is located in the southwest of holy Karbala and is being implemented on a total land area of 2.5 hectares with three schools for males and three for females.”

He concluded his speech that "the project has reached a completion rate of nearly 60%, and it is hoped that a major part of it will be opened next year, represented by three schools, two of them for males and one for females, in addition to the administrative building.”
