Foreign tourists call for the establishment of an international tourism company to visit Iraq’s antiquities

A delegation of tourists from the United States of America called for the establishment of an international tourism company to attract tourists from America and Europe to visit the archaeological sites, during their visit to the antiquities and heritage of Iraq.

The Director of Dhi Qar Antiquities, Amer Abdul Razzaq, said in a statement, "An American family founded an international tourism company with the aim of attracting tourists from the United States of America and all European countries to Iraq, specifically Dhi Qar, to visit archaeological sites and marshes and to view many ancient historical archaeological sites."

He added, "The delegation consisted of a group of foreign tourists who stayed for more than a month in Iraq. We provided them with all means of assistance to make their tourism project a success. We gave them a set of souvenir gifts and they were very happy with this visit."
