Germany: “Open Mosque” event attracts non-Muslims to learn about Islam

During the past few days, various German cities witnessed the organization of “Open Mosque” events, which call for introducing non-Muslims to Islam and its culture, in a positive step for peaceful coexistence among all.

The organizers strive to bring everyone closer to Islam, and they have chosen mosques as the best place for that, as they are also centers of cultural and intellectual radiation in addition to their religious symbolism.

The events were held at the mosques in the cities of Hort, Hamburg, Duisburg, Frankfurt and Berlin. The non-Muslim visitors toured the houses of worship and saw worshippers performing ablution and prayers and reciting the Holy Quran, as they expressed their admiration to the culture.

The organizers presented gifts to the visitors and shared a meal together.
