Completion rates of the Shrine's homeless shelters
The Strategic Projects Department at the Holy Shrine announced the completion rates for the two ongoing projects of building shelters for homeless people in Karbala.
Eng Mohammad Dhiaa, the official of the Department, said, Works are underway with strenuous efforts to complete the project, and this is being implemented on 6,650 m2, with a building area of 13,000 m2 with six floors."
He added, "Over 20% of the project has been completed, and the project consists of examination rooms, inpatient rooms, a pharmacy, computer halls, a central restaurant, a mosque, and teaching rooms."
He pointed out, "A similar project is being constructed and dedicated to males with a 40% completion rate until now, noting that these projects are vital and designed per the latest global standards to embrace the homeless and those without social care."
