Nineveh witnesses the 3rd year of Hijab Takleef for Girls
Al-Sadiq Al-Ameen Cultural Centre, affiliated with the Department of Religious Affairs at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, held a festival for Hijab's Takleef for the 3rd year in a row, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahraa (PBUH), in cooperation with the Anwaar Tel Affar Foundation and the Tal Affar Education Directorate.
Sheikh Khalil Al-Alawi, the centre's official, said, "It is necessary to use this occasion to publicise the status of Fatima Al-Zahraa (PBUH) and to emphasise interest in good deeds that lead the coming generations to guidance, light, and righteousness, as well as to use the occasion to urge girls to imitate the veil and chastity of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra."
He added, "The ceremony witnessed the participation of more than 750 girls from twenty schools in Nineveh Governorate in the presence of an elite group of well-known educators in the Tal Affar district, and a group of youths presented anasheed."
He concluded, "The festival included theatrical activities presented by a group of girls, in addition to honouring the girls with gifts provided by the Holy Shrine and honouring the Director of Tal Afar Education, the teaching staff, and the Anwar Tal Afar Foundation staff."
