Mosul: Imam Hussain Holy Shrine inaugurates Al-Batool Teaching Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology

The General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine inaugurated the Al-Batool Teaching Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology on the right side of the city of Mosul in conjunction with the birth anniversary of the Awaited Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance, and in the presence of the Iraqi Prime Minister, representatives of the local government, tribal sheikhs and residents of the province.

The Head of the Engineering Projects Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Engineer Hussein Redha Mahdi, said, “In conjunction with the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi, Al-Batool Teaching Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology was inaugurated on the right side of the city of Mosul, with a total area of ​​7000 m2 and a capacity of 220 beds.”

The project was funded and implemented by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to provide its medical and health services to all citizens free of charge, and thus it will be handed over to the Nineveh Health Department.

The Al-Batool Teaching Hospital took six months to complete and it was presented as a gift from the Supreme Religious Authority and the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to the esteemed people of Mosul.
