Pakistan’s Lok Virsa Heritage Museum hosts Islamic calligraphy exhibition

The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) organized an exhibition of Islamic Calligraphy at the Pakistan National Heritage Museum.

Syed Abu Ahmad Akif, Director General, highly appreciated the efforts of Lok Virsa to promote and perpetuate the Quranic culture in the country.

The display of works by famous calligraphers, including the late Aftab Khan, Nawaz Ahmad and Ahsan Khan, attracted a large number of people from different walks of life.

The exhibition will continue till the end of the month of Ramadan.

The objective of the exhibition is to promote Islamic calligraphy and to provide a platform for the calligraphers to display their work at the national level.
