Imam Hussain Holy Shrine launches free treatment initiative with the participation of an international medical team

The Sayyeda Zainab Al-Kubra Eye Surgical Center, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, in cooperation with the Al-Methaq Voluntary Medical Group, launched the ‘Al-Nabaa and Al-Murad Initiative’, with the participation of doctors from outside Iraq.

The Director of the Center, Dr. Uday Al-Salami, in a statement to the International Media Center, said, "The Sayyeda Zainab Al-Kubra Eye Surgical Center launched the ‘Al-Nabaa and Murad Initiative’, in cooperation with the Al-Methaq Voluntary Medical Group, as this free initiative falls within the efforts of His Eminence, the Chief Cleric of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, to relieve the burden of the Iraqi citizen from all the provinces, through free treatment in the centers and private hospitals affiliated with the Holy Shrine.”

Al-Salami added, "The international medical team is one of the most skilled eye surgical specialists who came from several countries, including Pakistan and the Gulf states. They will receive patients from all members of the Iraqi society for free treatment from 2/2/2023 to 12/2/2023."
