Imam Hussain City for Pilgrims continues to provide its various services to Arbaeen pilgrims 24 hours a day

Imam Hussain City for Pilgrims, one of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s three main cities that serve pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) throughout the year especially during Arbaeen, announced to the beloved pilgrims on the Karbala-Babylon Road that it continues to provide its various services to pilgrims, including the Missing Persons Center, which uses modern electronic techniques in the field of locating missing persons, available during the commemoration of the ceremonies of the Arbaeen.

The head of the Missing Persons Center in the City, Ammar Abdul-Hussein, spoke about the center’s mechanism of work, saying, “The center has begun to provide its various services to all pilgrims walking towards the holy city of Karbala over a 24-hour period, including providing free local and international calls for pilgrims and issuing special identification tags for children in addition to an Internet service, as well as a charging station to charge mobile devices.

He added, "Coordination has been made with telecommunications companies to provide free services such as calls and data and to provide devices so that the pilgrim can stay connected during his journey. Intercom service is also available through loudspeakers and in several languages, including Arabic, Persian, and English.”

There are two other cities for pilgrims built by the Holy Shrine: one on the Najaf-Karbala Road, and one on the Baghdad-Karbala Road.
