Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues construction work at maternity hospital in Wasit Province

The Strategic Projects Department of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is continuing its work to implement the Maternity Teaching Hospital project in Wasit, Essaouira District, to provide medical and health services to citizens in the province.

Project manager, Engineer Mortada Alaa Abdel Karim, said in an interview with the International Media Center that "our staffs are still working to complete the maternity hospital project, and work is progressing at an increasing pace and achieving advanced completion rates."

 He added, "The concrete structure of the main building has been completed, as well as the foundation of the service building."

He explained that "the building is being constructed on a total area of 1600 m2, and the project consists of two main and service buildings. The main building consists of four floors (850 m2 each), and the service building has two floors (250 m2 each)."
