Christian delegation from Mosul spreads the spirit of peace and brotherhood in Karbala

A delegation of Christian youths from the Iraqi province of Mosul arrived in Karbala, to visit the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and tour its museum.

Samer Al-Kallak, a member of the delegation, said, "Today we were honored to visit the city of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and experience the wonderful spiritual atmosphere in his holy shrine. During my visit to the Husseini Museum, I lived through the tragedy that occurred to the Master of the Youth of Paradise and his family on the day of Ashura hundreds of years ago, and I noticed the brutal attack of Saddam’s regime on the holy shrine, which hurt me deeply.”

Raafat Louay expressed his feelings, saying, "It is nice to remember God's loved ones, His Prophet Muhammad and the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in this place, which instills reassurance in our souls."

Sarmad Nabil described the museum as "a wonderful organization and considered it the station through which the spirit of tolerance and love was spread,” suggesting that there should be regular youth trips from various Iraqi provinces to the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, to introduce the message of the Prophet Muhammad and his pure family.
