Libyan health delegation visits Imam Hussain Holy Shrine

A health delegation from the State of Libya visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain to examine its health and humanitarian projects accomplished during the last period.

The head of the Libyan Scientific Council for Surgery, Dr. Hatyush Faraj Hatyush, said in a statement to the International Media Center, "I was honored to be in the land of Karbala and to visit the Holy Shrine of the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him.”

“We conducted a tour of the shrine's health institutions, including the Warith International Foundation for Cancer Diseases, which is considered a huge accomplishment for the city and a clear that those in charge of it are truly patriotic and love their homeland. They provide these services, which we rarely find in Arab countries, for a fraction of the price,” added Hatyush.

Dr. Hatyush pointed out that "the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is proactive in this field, and we noticed in the last period that there is a moderate religious authority that calls for not being drawn into ideological and religious differences and calls for coexistence with everyone.”

The delegation was briefed on the calls of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to curb extremism and terrorism, renounce sectarianism, and hold events for peaceful coexistence with all religions and sects.
