German delegation visits the holy shrines and tours the Museum of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine

A German delegation including converts and a number of personalities visited the holy shrines in Karbala, Najaf and Kadhimiya.

The head of the Media Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Aqil al-Shareefi, said “The delegation included a number of converts to the Islamic religion after research and knowledge, as they were convinced to embrace Islam because of the answers to the problems they faced in the search for many pivotal issues, according to what was mentioned to us.”

Al-Shareefi added that the delegation visited the shrines of Imam Hussain and his brother Al-Abbas, peace be upon them, and toured the Imam Hussein Museum.

One of the German converts, Eva Simola, said about the visit, "I insisted on visiting the holy shrines in Iraq, despite knowing that there were difficulties. When I entered the holy places, I felt that I was in the midst of my family, and I felt Islamic brotherhood and a sincere spiritual atmosphere."

Eva added, "I found what I was looking for in my life's journey, in the true Islamic religion, and my embrace of it was not easy, as I lost a lot in order to adhere to my new conviction and creed."
