President of Iraq’s Shia Endowments Bureau praises the Quranic projects of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine

The President of Iraq’s Shia Endowments Bureau, Dr. Haider Hassan al-Shammari, praised the Quranic projects organized by the Quran House at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.

This came during a visit by a delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain to the Bureau Office in the capital, Baghdad, where the delegation was headed by the Advisor to the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine for Quranic Affairs, Sheikh Hassan al-Mansouri, accompanied by the head of International Quranic Preaching Center and a number of Quran House officials.

The delegation gave al-Shammari an overview of the most prominent Quranic projects launched by the Quran House inside and outside Iraq, and its future plans.

The delegation also presented the latest publications of the House including “The Quran House Projects Guide", which documents the experience of Quranic work since the establishment of the House, as well as the book "The Journey of Verses", which includes the various Quranic activities and programs of the International Quranic Center in a number of West Asian countries.

During his briefing on the completed projects and programs, al-Shammari praised the outstanding achievements of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in the Quranic field, which not only launched its activities inside Iraq, but also succeeded in spreading the Quranic culture to the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in a number of countries around the world.

At the same time, the President of the Bureau stressed the need for continued cooperation and coordination between the various holy shrines, in order to serve the Islamic religion and disseminate the culture of its holy book.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Endowment Committee, Hana Al-Tai, and the director of the Holy Quran House at Kadhimiya Holy Shrine, Sayyed Ammar al-Mousawi.
