Hospital in Karbala performs 30-70 surgeries daily free of charge

Safeer al-Imam al-Hussain Surgical Hospital, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced that it has performed more than 3000 surgeries free of charge, in addition to medical examinations to all Iraqis.

Hospital media director Muheiman Razzaq Abeis said, “The hospital provides various medical services, including surgical operations free of charge. There is an average of 30-70 surgeries performed daily, and most of the patients are from other Iraqi provinces.”

Abeis pointed out, “Since the beginning of this year, and until today, Safeer al-Imam al-Hussain Surgical Hospital has performed 2,044 major operations and more than 957 minor operations, all of which were free of charge.”

The hospital is located in front of Door #9 of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and receives patients 24 hours a day.
