Inauguration of an educational complex in the Republic of Mali

Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has opened Warith al-Anbiya Institution and School in Arabic and French in the Republic of Mali, as part of its international activities and programs aimed at disseminating the knowledge of the Ahlulbayt.

The head of the holy shrine’s African Activities Division, Sheikh Ali al-Qarawi said, "Imam Hussain Holy Shrine seeks to set up educational institutions in Africa and other continents in order to serve religion and society, as well as to revive religious events such as the births and martyrdoms of the Ahlulbayt.”

The Supreme Religious Authority and the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine sponsor this institution.

“The purpose of opening a kindergarten and a school in Arabic and French is to disseminate the Islamic culture by presenting religious lectures on the Holy Quran, jurisprudence and beliefs, and by organizing religious activities,” said the institution director in Mali, Sheikh Ali Kony.

Warith al-Anbiya Institution serves the Muslim community in the West African country.
