Specialized Hospital for Children to be Established by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine

The Engineering and Technical Projects Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the commencement of work in the children’s hospital project in Babylon.

The head of the department, Eng. Redha Mahdi, said, “The reason behind establishing a specialized hospital for children with modern international specifications by the Holy Shrine is to provide the best health services for Iraqi children."

Mahdi added that the hospital will consist of eight floors with 132 patient beds, in addition to eight operating rooms and six LDRP rooms.

"The hospital will contain an autism center, burn treatment halls, dialysis, and physiotherapy centers," Mahdi explained.

Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has adopted the implementation of many humanitarian and service projects aimed at providing the best services to citizens.
