Raising Imam Hussein & El-Abbas banners in Khozistan city - Iran

Saturday May 3, 2013. Khozistan city witnessed the ceremony of raising the Imam Hussein and his brother El-Abbas banners which used to be fluttering above the holy shrines. The banners raised on the evening call to prayer time.
The deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine sayed Afdhel El-Shami, mentioned in a press statement, "Directed by the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine Shaikh Abdul Mahdi El-Kerbala'i, the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas holy banners raised in the presence of a great number of people by the member of the board of directors of the Imam Hussein foundation Mr. Ali El-Seffar,."
It's been mentioned that raising the banners was within the activities of the Cultural Week Festival.
