Karbala Registers More Than 11,000 Hussaini Processions, Including 127 from Arab and International Groups

As part of the preparations for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, and in coordination with the Hussaini Processions Authority at the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussain and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them), the local government of Karbala is continuing the registration of Hussaini processions and service committees.

According to the Media and Public Relations Department of the Karbala Police, the number of registered Hussaini processions (Mawakib) has now exceeded 11,070, including 127 processions from Arab and international participants.

The department confirmed that the registration is progressing smoothly and in an organized fashion, in accordance with administrative plans aimed at creating optimal conditions for receiving pilgrims from both within Iraq and abroad.
