Imam Hussain Centre in Istanbul holds a meeting with the UN humanitarian relief

The Imam Hussein Centre (PBUH) in Istanbul participated with the Ahlu al-Bayet Foundation in a meeting with the non-governmental organisation WF-AID, which specialises in humanitarian relief work, to discuss the results and details of helping the places affected by earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
 
The Foundation presented a summary of food and clothing donation campaigns it provided under the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf. In addition to sending several trucks loaded with the necessary materials to help affected people in southern Turkey with their catastrophe.
 
Sabah Al-Talqani, Director of the Imam Hussain Centre in Istanbul, affiliated with the Holy Shrine Media Department, provided detailed information about the convoys sent by the Shrine that included tonnes of all the people needed to face their disaster.
 
 
It is stated that WF-AID is a non-governmental humanitarian relief agency affiliated with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
