Imam Hussain Holy Shrine launches Female Quranic Forum

The Quran House of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine launched the activities of the Third National Forum for Female Quran Memorizers on February 18, 2023, at the Sayyed Al-Awsiya Hall in the Holy Shrine.

Karrar Al-Shammari, head of the Quranic Media Center, told the International Media Center, “The Women’s Quranic Activity Unit of the Quran House held the Third National Forum for Female Memorizers, which includes lessons and workshops in exegesis, contemplation, in addition to developmental and rehabilitative lectures with an ethical aspect under the supervision of senior professors of advanced research in the scientific seminary.”

He added, "One of the most important goals of the forum is to create a female element that has the ability to be a leader for this Quranic society, to build the personality of a Quranic memorizer, to develop its practical and skillful aspects, as well as to gain experience, discover Quranic talents, and work on refining them," noting that "the forum will continue for three days.”
