The International Quranic Preaching Center holds Quranic courses in Syria to demonstrate the relationship of the Holy Quran to the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them)

The Syria-branch of the International Quranic Preaching Center of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine initiated a set of activities and Quranic courses for boys and girls.

Muntadhar Al-Mansouri, director of the aforementioned center, said, "The center, located in the Sayyeda Zainab District, hosts many educational and Quranic activities and events in cities and villages of the Syrian capital, Damascus.”

Over 100 male and female students participated in the Quranic courses, which included the memorization of the Holy Quran, as well as lectures on vocal performance and Arabic language lessons.

“There was a special lecture on the relationship of the Holy Quran to the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), in addition to a weekly lesson in teaching correct recitation and some Quranic concepts,” added Al-Mansouri.

The head of the Quranic center indicated that there is great interest in attending these courses as participants traveled long distances, despite the weather conditions, to attend them.
