Imam Hussain Holy Shrine signs memorandum of cooperation with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences

The University Education Authority at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine signed a memorandum of cooperation with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences on the sidelines of participation in the First International Conference for Health and Medical Specialties in Karbala, to achieve the aspirations of progress in the fields of medicine and health.

Haider al-Tamimi, head of the University Education Authority, said in a statement to the International Media Center, "A delegation from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, represented by the President of the University, Dr. Kayani, with two of his assistants and the head of the university's research centers and the accompanying delegation visited Karbala to participate in the international scientific conference and sign the agreement between the two universities."

He added, "A delegation from the University Education Authority at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, represented by the Universities of Warith Al-Anbiya and Al-Zahra University, had visited the University of Mashhad for Medical Sciences earlier to see the educational and medical reality, and a memorandum of cooperation mechanisms was drafted between the two universities.”

The agreement will raise the level of cooperation in the areas of student admission and training, granting seats for postgraduate studies and forming research teams for students and academics.

The delegation expressed its admiration for the service and medical projects of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, stressing "the continuation of this agreement and the formation of a team from both sides to support, follow up and develop it in the future."
