Developing the artistic, cultural and intellectual capabilities of people with special needs

Sayyed al-Awsiya City for Pilgrims, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, hosts people with special needs to develop their artistic, cultural and intellectual capabilities.

“The staff of Sayyed al-Awsiya City for Pilgrims made every effort to provide all the services needed to help develop the skills of people with special needs and support them financially and morally,” said head of the Media Unit, Ali al-Husseini.

Over 1300 people with different disabilities participated in the programs sponsored by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.

The participants and their families praised the role of the Holy Shrine for the support and services it provided to this segment.

Sayyed al-Awsiya City for Pilgrims is open all year round and provides free services to the pilgrims. The City was placed at the disposal of the Ministry of Health and used as quarantine for Covid-19 patients, earlier this year.
